Snowy photos

Just a few pictures from our snowy weather we've had this past week.

Our snowy house. I actually have Christmas lights inside the front windows - you just can't see them in this photo. Once again we have a house with no exterior electric plug, in the front at least.

Our snowy street.

Our snowy park.

Alex enjoying one of his first sled rides. We got some closer-up pictures, but I liked the expression caught on his face here.

Gracie on one of her rides, obviously a little more daring than her brother.

I'm sure Jim has learned his lesson that once you give in to being the tow truck, you'll be doing it the rest of the morning.

Alex with his (of course) Power Rangers hat on.

Grace would wear her hair like this every day if I let her - unbrushed and free-flowing.

Three things I love the most, staying warm inside.

Okay now Julie, your profile says you're in Dallas and the photos are full of real snow and children sledding. What's wrong with this picture?

Oops - guess I should change that one!

Glad to see Andy's sled in good use, although we will miss it on those few icy days when your dad and I would slide from the driveway to Shorty's gate. Yep, even in our "old age" a sled is fun. You will certainly get more use out of it than we would.

We have to buy another one because the kids got too impatient waiting for their sibling to take a turn.

And yes, I took a turn on it!

Sledding is fun- Astro used to love to chase the boys down the hill in his younger years. Barley just stays at the top, smart girl.

Glad Jim learned his lesson about towing- the trips up the hill are a huge bonus, they wear the kids out!

Now tubing is a whole different story. They have a conveyor belt thing that you hop on and it takes you back to the top. SO much fun.
